The Mississippi Nursery and Landscape Association offers the opportunity to award three scholarships during each year to horticulture students; MNLA Endowment Denny Phillips, the Howell Memorial Scholarship and the Walter E. Davis Scholarship .

Nursery Professional Certification Program

The Mississippi Certified Nursery Professional Certificate (MCNPC) is an award to an individual who has completed successfully, all requirements of the Nursery Professional Certification Program and who is a member of the Mississippi Nursery & Landscape Associa­tion (MNLA).

Mississippi Medallion Program

As a tool for promoting Mississippi grown plants, the Mississippi Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) established the Mississippi Medallion Program. The purpose of this program is to identify plants that perform exceptionally well throughout the state and to promote the proper use of these plants in landscapes within Mississippi. Between three and five plants are selected as a Medallion Plant annually.

Mississippi Community Green Connection

The Mississippi Community Green Connection is a grant program that is sponsored by the Mississippi Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA). MNLA will award $1,000 to three qualifying municipalities in the State of Mississippi.
